Mytonomy Cloud for Healthcare Validated Through Oracle Health Developer Program

The Mytonomy video-based patient education and engagement content is now easily assignable to Oracle healthcare customers

The Mytonomy Cloud for Healthcare has been validated through the Oracle Health Developer Program named code. The validation process included security, operational, functional and UX reviews of the Mytonomy application’s connection to the Oracle EHR via FHIR APIs. Mytonomy can provide health systems with video-based patient education directly within the EHR and help eliminate additional steps in providers’ workflows.

“Mytonomy enables providers to do more with less. We help bring more patients in the door, by educating them more effectively than ever before. This helps drive down costs, increases revenue, and helps activate patients to achieve better outcomes,” said Anjali Kataria, Mytonomy CEO and Co-founder. “Oracle Health helps enable us to assign Mytonomy’s education to patients, anywhere in their care journey, while reducing the load on nursing staff and addressing the problem of misinformation.”

Led by a team of serial entrepreneurs and former executives of some of the world’s top technology companies, Mytonomy is transforming patient education by leveraging the power of content streaming to drive precision engagement. With more than 3,000 clinical video segments spanning all major therapeutic conditions, Mytonomy supports the entire patient journey, from discovery to rehabilitation.

“Our goal is to bring the healthcare and the development worlds together. Encouraging innovators, both third-party vendors and customers, to develop apps that work across existing health records, helps the industry advance the way care is delivered through improved interoperability,” said Jake Engle, senior director of Open Developer Experience, Oracle Health. “With our developer program, we’re working toward making healthcare more open and connected than ever before.”

“Providers can assign content to patients based on rules, with patient-level viewership being written back to Oracle Health,” said Vinay Bhargava, Mytonomy President and Co-founder. “Connecting within the EHR gives providers the ability to focus more time on patient care and helps to reduce manual discharge processes.”
