Stephanie Handelson Named CEO of Greystone Health

Handelson expected to continue expansion into new markets

Greystone Healthcare Management, which manages 28 skilled nursing facilities in Florida as well as home health and private duty agencies, today announced Stephanie Handelson will assume the Chief Executive Officer position effective March 4. Ms. Handelson succeeds Gerry Jenich, who has served as interim CEO since February 2018.

Prior to joining Greystone, Ms. Handelson was President and Chief Operating Officer of Benchmark Senior Living. There, she focused on developing the organization’s “people first” philosophy to enhance both patient and business outcomes. Before her eight years at Benchmark, Ms. Handelson served as Senior Vice President for East Coast Operations of a large national senior living provider, overseeing over 200 communities along the East Coast.

“Stephanie’s guiding principles of passion, pride and purpose align so closely with Greystone’s, and coupled with her deep seniors housing industry experience, she is a natural fit for the role as CEO to guide the organization through its next phase of growth,” said Steve Rosenberg, Founder of Greystone.

Ms. Handelson is a former member of the National Investment Center for the Seniors Housing & Care Industry (NIC) Operator Advisory Board, served on the Board of Argentum for three terms, and is a member of the American Seniors Housing Association and Senior Living 100 Advisory Board. She holds an MBA from Dowling College in Oakdale, New York and a bachelor's degree in Hospitality from New York Institute of Technology.
