Whitehair brings more than 25 years of experience leading oncology service lines in both academic and community health systems. In her new role, she will oversee operational strategy, workflow optimization, program development, accreditation readiness, workforce planning and patient access initiatives across medical oncology, infusion services, pharmacy and other oncology programs.
According to Bridge Oncology, the appointment comes as healthcare organizations face increasing financial, operational and regulatory pressures, including anticipated Medicare reimbursement changes. The company said Whitehair’s expertise will help clients improve operational efficiency, strengthen financial performance and expand access to cancer care.
Most recently, Whitehair served as Senior Director of Operations at Emory Healthcare’s Winship Cancer Institute, where she helped lead oncology service expansion, workflow redesign and workforce planning. She previously held oncology leadership positions at Baylor Scott & White Health and Memorial Hermann Health System.
