NuraLogix Releases Long-Term Cardiovascular Risk Assessment Model
New predictive model estimates cardiovascular disease risk over time spans of up to 20 years
NuraLogix has introduced a cardiovascular risk assessment model designed to estimate an individual’s likelihood of developing cardiovascular disease across timeframes ranging from one to 20 years.
The release extends the company’s earlier 10-year model and is intended for use by healthcare platforms, researchers, and wellness providers to track cardiovascular risk trends in populations over longer periods. The system operates through a camera-based, contactless method of analysis.
The model was trained on health data from more than 100,000 individuals from multiple regions. The company states that this approach was developed to improve applicability across demographic groups compared to traditional regression models based primarily on U.S. data.
“Cardiovascular disease doesn’t develop overnight,” said Dr. Keith Thompson, Chief Medical Officer at NuraLogix. “By extending our predictive horizon to 20 years, we offer users and organizations insight into how everyday choices may impact long-term heart health.”
Cardiovascular disease remains the leading cause of death worldwide, with nearly 18 million deaths each year.
