Nest Collaborative is now a Participating Provider with Health First Colorado, State’s Medicaid Program

Nest Collaborative, a large national virtual lactation consultation platform, is now a participating provider with Health First Colorado. This partnership allows Nest’s team of expert providers to deliver lactation support via telehealth 365 days per year for members actively enrolled in Health First Colorado, including those with Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+).

The Medicaid program in Colorado began supporting telehealth providers in 2020 to ensure that patients can get the care they need through video appointments without leaving the comfort of their homes.

“We are thrilled to join forces with Health First Colorado to expand access to expert lactation support for its members,” said Judith Nowlin, CEO of Nest Collaborative. “By becoming a participating provider, we are not only fulfilling our mission of empowering new parents with the resources they need for successful breastfeeding journeys but also aligning with the program’s vision of delivering high-quality care through innovative telehealth solutions. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of Health First Colorado members, ensuring they receive the support and guidance necessary to nurture their babies’ health and well-being.”

Becoming a participating provider with Health First Colorado’s program is a testament to Nest Collaborative’s commitment to breaking down the many barriers families encounter when accessing care. Nest’s platform offers virtual breastfeeding support 365 days a year, and provides acute and preventive care as well as comprehensive education to both prenatal and postpartum parents. It’s worth noting that Nest’s services are generally covered with no out-of-pocket costs by over 250 insurance plans nationwide, including most national payers.
