CharmHealth Announces Winners of 2025 Innovation Challenge, Highlighting Emerging Healthtech Innovators

PLEASANTON, Calif. — October 1, 2025 — CharmHealth has announced the winners of its fifth annual Innovation Challenge, recognizing startups developing technologies aimed at transforming healthcare delivery. This year’s competition drew a record number of submissions from entrepreneurs, universities, and accelerators worldwide.

Seventeen finalists presented their solutions during Charmalot, CharmHealth’s annual user conference held September 19–20 in Berkeley, California. The top three winners were selected following live pitches before judges and attendees.

2025 Innovation Challenge Winners:

• Grand Prize ($10,000): Rubitection — Developed a global standard for skin health monitoring and wound care management using a measurement probe and companion software that supports personalized and preventive care.
• Second Place ($5,000): Voice Health — Built a voice AI platform offering clinic-specific virtual assistants to streamline administrative workflows such as scheduling, reminders, and follow-ups, while maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Third Place ($2,500): Thymos Health — Created a data-driven system to diagnose, treat, and uncover root causes of autoimmune conditions, using AI to support holistic patient well-being.

Three companies — A Pound of Cure, Vibrant, and the National Nurse Practitioner Entrepreneur Network (NNPEN) — received honorable mentions for their innovative concepts.

The Innovation Challenge, now in its fifth year, reflects CharmHealth’s broader mission to foster collaboration and community among healthcare innovators. In 2025, the competition expanded to include a new Agentic AI category, emphasizing the growing importance of autonomous, reasoning-based AI systems in healthcare.
