6OVER6 Wins mHealth Israel Start-Up Competition Powered by GT

Vision Care App Beats Over 50 Startups

mHealth Israel Conference, today announced the winner of its mobile health startup contest, 6over6 – a vision care app that enables users to perform their own eye vision test. They presented in front of a packed conference hall at Tel Aviv University, beating six other finalists, and will receive an all-expenses paid business development trip to Texas for the Medical World Americas Conference, where they will meet with C-level executives from Texas Medical Center and other health systems.

6over6 solution “GlassesOn”, provides a simple and intuitive smartphone app for a complete and accurate measurement of the refractive error of the eye, for eyeglasses /contact lenses prescriptions.

“We are honored to win this incredible competition, especially given the caliber of startups we were competing against,” said Dr. Ofer Limon, Co-Founder and CEO of 6over6. “This is a major milestone for us, as mHealth’s has enabled us to promote our idea with healthcare entrepreneurs, potential investors, and industry giants from around the globe.”

The Finalists presented to a panel of C-level Judges from top global healthcare organizations including Philips, Novartis, AstraZeneca, and AARP. Runners-up have also been invited to present at Medica in Dusseldorf, Germany. Two winners will also participate in the Merage Institute at UC Irvine.

Taliaz Diagnostics – Taliaz Diagnostics develops innovative genetic-based predictive tools – guiding clinicians through sophisticated and unique algorithms in determining the correct medication for the individual patient.

Datos Health – Datos enables health organizations to proactively manage patient health through an innovative data management platform, which delivers personalized insights without patients leaving their home.

Recover.io – Recover.io uses the power of Virtual Reality to provide a better rehabilitation process for people following brain injury

Intensix– Intensix provides a high-accuracy predictive clinical analytics tool for hospital ICUs to improve clinical outcomes and reduce costs.
