CHIME Launches ScaleHealth to Advance Healthcare Innovation

New venture connects healthcare leaders, technology companies, startups and investors to accelerate solutions to the industry’s most pressing challenges

The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) has partnered with ScaleHealth to launch ScaleHealth, powered by CHIME, a new innovation ecosystem designed to connect healthcare organizations with the people and technologies addressing the industry’s most pressing challenges.

The venture brings together CHIME’s established network of digital health executives and ScaleHealth’s broader innovation community. The goal is to help healthcare organizations discover promising technologies, validate solutions, build partnerships and advance innovations that can improve healthcare delivery.

As health systems face growing pressure to improve outcomes, manage costs, address workforce shortages and strengthen cybersecurity, healthcare leaders are increasingly looking for practical solutions. Artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies offer opportunities, but connecting those innovations with organizations that can implement them remains a challenge.

“ScaleHealth, powered by CHIME” aims to bridge that gap by creating a trusted environment for collaboration among healthcare providers, entrepreneurs, technology companies and investors.

“CHIME has spent 35 years bringing together the leaders responsible for solving healthcare’s most important technology and transformation challenges,” said Russ Branzell, president and CEO of CHIME. He said the new venture expands that community to include innovators, entrepreneurs and investors, helping healthcare leaders engage earlier and collaborate more effectively.

The initiative grew out of CHIME’s innovation programming, including its Innovation Summit series. Healthcare leaders expressed interest in working more directly with innovators, while startups and growing technology companies sought better access to healthcare executives and a clearer understanding of the industry’s operational needs.

Taylor McPartland, CEO of ScaleHealth and leader of the new venture, said healthcare has no shortage of innovation, but stronger connections are needed to help promising ideas reach the organizations that need them.

Unlike traditional startup accelerators or innovation marketplaces, ScaleHealth is designed to bring the broader healthcare innovation community together. Providers can identify their most pressing challenges, startups can introduce new solutions, established technology companies can contribute expertise and infrastructure, and investors can support growth.

The initiative represents CHIME’s effort to expand its role in healthcare transformation by creating new pathways for collaboration, technology validation and partnerships that can translate innovation into measurable results.
